Bruce Blumen

Executive Producer

Local Grass Valley resident Bruce Blumen is both the screenwriter and executive producer. "This is one of those things that I have always wanted to do" said Blumen. Working on the idea for nearly 10 years, Blumen came up with the concept when his son got in debt and was dealing with bill collectors. Blumen said "One of these guys told my son he was worth more dead than alive because he had a life insurance policy! So I thought I could write a novel with that as the basis." Blumen turned the story into a screenplay.

Peter Oakes

Producer / Director

Peter is the Producer/Director for the Bill Collector Movie.

Bret Allen, S.O.C
Director of Photography

Raised near Loomis California, Bret pursued a career in film, and mastered the art of cinematography and all aspects Film/Video production.

Bret’s over thirty year career spans feature films, episodic TV, national Commercial spots, and "reality" TV.

Credits Include: "The Amazing Race" - CBS, “Chopper Challenge” - CMT Network, “The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo” – Nickelodeon, “Swamp Thing” Sci Fi Channel.

He is a member of the exclusive SOCIETY OF CAMERA OPERATORS (S.O.C.).

Tammy Sumner

First Assistant Director

I've worked in the television and film industry for many years. I wear many hats in the industry from stage manager and camera operator in TV, to stage hand, to First Assistant Director in films. I'm married and I'm also a mom, and its only Tuesday. ;) I love this industry because it allows me to be creative. I feel blessed to have had all of the opportunities that I've had and working on this film was fun.

Angela L Gibson

Second Assistant Director

Angela is the Assistant Producer, Second Assistant Director, Assistant Editor, Animal Handler, Web Developer and [insert other hat here].

Working on this independent feature film was truly a chance of a lifetime. I have a newfound respect for everything that has to happen behind the scenes to make all the thousands of variables to come together to bring a script to life on the big screen.

We had a phenomenal cast and crew and I'm honored to have been a part of the process!
