Tammy Sumner (First Assistant Director)
I've worked in the television and film industry for many years. I wear many hats in the industry from stage manager and camera operator in TV, to stage hand, to First Assistant Director in films. I'm married and I'm also a mom, and its only Tuesday. ;) I love this industry because it allows me to be creative. I feel blessed to have had all of the opportunities that I've had and working on this film was fun.
Angela Gibson (Second Assistant Director)
Angela is the Production Supervisor, Assistant Producer, Second Assistant Director, Assistant Editor, Animal Handler, Web Developer and [insert other hat here].Working on this independent feature film was truly a chance of a lifetime. I have a newfound respect for everything that has to happen behind the scenes to make all the thousands of variables to come together to bring a script to life on the big screen. We had a phenomenal cast and crew and I'm honored to have been a part of the process!
Ryan Logan (Grip Gaffer / Sound)
Ryan handled Grip, Gaffer, and Sound duties flawlessly.
Peter Oakes (Producer / Director)
Starting with 8mm film in 1975, Peter has been working with film & video for his entire career. As a self employed business person for over 30 years, Peter has produced more than 3000 television commercials, infomercials, corporate programs, docu-entertainment and movies. With a focus on helping film makers achieve profitability, Peter works in every aspect of digital media to make, market and distribute
content for todays technology based audiences.
Bruce Blumen (Executive Producer / Writer)
Local Grass Valley resident Bruce Blumen is both the screenwriter and executive producer. "This is one of those things that I have always wanted to do" said Blumen. Working on the idea for nearly 10 years, Blumen came up with the concept when his son got in debt and was dealing with bill collectors. Blumen said "One of these guys told my son he was worth more dead than alive because he had a life insurance policy! So I thought I could write a novel with that as the basis." Blumen turned the story into a screenplay, which has now become a full-length feature film.
Bret Allen (Director of Photography)
Raised near Loomis California, Bret pursued a career in film, and mastered the art of cinematography and all aspects Film/Video production. Bret’s over thirty year career spans feature films, episodic TV, national Commercial spots, and "reality" TV. Credits Include: "The Amazing Race" - CBS, “Chopper Challenge” - CMT Network, “The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo” – Nickelodeon, “Swamp Thing” Sci Fi Channel. He is a member of the exclusive SOCIETY OF CAMERA OPERATORS (S.O.C.).
Patrick Minderler (Prop Master / Production Assistant)
Patrick also handled Set Design and made sure everything was well documented for continuity.
Heidi Boucher (Production Design / Set Decorator)
Heidi Boucher has been involved in film, television and theater for over 20 years, both in California and Oregon. She began her career in Sacramento with PBS, designing sets, graphics and assisting the Art Director. Later she moved to Oregon and began Art Directing/Set Decorating for a nationally recognized, award winning, production company. She worked as a Visual Arts Coordinator for the city of Eugene, with Oregon Public Broadcasting, community theater, and a variety of independent filmmakers. Over the years Heidi has had the privilege of working on numerous stage productions handling other visual aspects including lighting, set design and costumes. Since returning to California in 2000, she has worked as a production designer on several award winning feature films, shorts, music videos, commercials, broadcast television and stage productions. Heidi’s eye for detail, strong sense of esthetic and the ability to create a visual mood are continually brought forth in every production.
