The Bill Collector Movie premiere December 10th, 2009 at 7:00pm at the Del Oro Theatre in Grass Valley, CA was a smashing success! We had a great turn-out!
There was a taste of Hollywood in Grass Valley replete with limosines and search lights.
Much of the cast and crew were in attendance and the movie showing ran successfully on a Quad-core Mac Pro connected to a projector and theatre surround sound system.
Yes, that's right! The entire movie was shot digitally with a Panasonic HVX200, edited on a Mac Pro with Final Cut Studio, then the movie ran in its entirety on the same Quad-core Mac Pro on the big screen.
Following the movie we had a short question and answer session where audience members were able to ask cast and crew questions about the movie and Bruce Blumen was able to share more background on how the idea for the movie went from idea to reality.
Thank you to everyone who made last night possible and thank you to everyone who took time to come out in the cold and share this exciting time with us!
Also, thanks to all of you who took time to give us your thoughts about the movie. If you would like to add anything more, we would appreciate any feedback you would like to share.

The Bill Collector Movie was inspired by events experienced by the Executive Producer's son, Ben.
As a direct result of abuse suffered at the hands of bill collectors, Ben decided to take his story on the road and appeared on several national talk shows, including Oprah, Phil Donahue, and Leeza Gibbons.
Ben's father, Bruce Blumen, wrote a book called The Bill Collector which was the basis for the screenplay for this independent feature film.
This is where we'll post information about all the awards The Bill Collector Movie is going to win!
Thank you to all our loyal supporters and fans! You've been with us all along the way!
